Hi I've just brought a new laptop which is the Lenovo Z400 and after 2 days of usage, tonight, I've experienced this error called "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (tcpip.sys)" and it's quite annoying having this error since it randomly happens and takes a lot of time to reboot.

My laptop specs:

Windows 8 64 bit, Intel Core i3 3120M, 4GB RAM, Geforce GT 635M 2GB

I checked C:\\Windows\Minidump for dump files but I got nothing since I didn't have the patience to wait until my computer restarts since it took like more than 40 mins to reboot so I just turned my laptop off and on again.

If I don't get a solution I think restoring my laptop is a reasonable choice no?

Anyway, if someone ever helps and replies I thank you !

We do need the actual DMP file as they contain the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.   We prefer at least 2 DMP files to spot trends and confirm the cause.

If you are using Blue screen view, who crashed, or a similar application, don't.  They are wrong at least as often as they are correct

Using Lenovo ideapad flex 2-14 with windows 8.1..was trying to access slideshare..got crash with message..

-DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (tcpip.sys) ..suggest how to resolve the error. should I send the dmp file to analyse or is there any general solution..Thanks..
